Due to its low carbon content, 304L stainless steel coil is suitable for use in applications where welding is required, as the carbides precipitated in the heat-affected zone close to the weld are minimised, thus reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion. 304L stainless steel coil has a density of 7.93 g/cm³ and has good corrosion and formability properties.
